What goes into a bridal blouse
- Design consultation. Share your saree, your jewellery and any reference pictures. Nitha sketches a layout for the neckline, sleeves and back.
- Hand tracing. The design is traced onto your blouse fabric and stretched on the aari frame.
- Layered embroidery. Zari outlines first, then fillings in thread, beads, sequins, kundan or zardosi, and finally pearls and stones.
- Stitching and finishing. The embroidered fabric is stitched to your measurements with lining, hooks and a neat inside finish.

How early should I book my bridal blouse?
Book as soon as your wedding saree is finalised. Heavy bridal embroidery is done by hand and we take limited orders each month, so earlier booking gives you the widest design choice.
Can you match the embroidery to my saree border?
Yes. Send a clear photo of the border and pallu. Nitha traces motifs from the saree itself so the blouse looks like part of the saree, not an add-on.
What materials are used in bridal work?
Zari and silk thread, cut beads, sequins, kundan and glass stones, pearls, zardosi wire and mirror work, chosen to suit your saree and budget.
Do you also do the groom's family or bridesmaid blouses?
Yes. Many families order the bride's blouse along with matching blouses for the mother, sisters and bridesmaids. Ask for a family set quote.
