10 Aari Work Blouse Designs for 2026 Weddings
Choosing the blouse is often the last decision a bride makes and the one guests notice first. Here are ten aari work blouse styles we are seeing most in Coimbatore weddings this season, and how to pick between them.
1. Pallu-match peacock
The peacock from the saree pallu is traced onto the back of the blouse in matching zari and thread. Works best with Kanchipuram silk where the pallu motif is bold.
2. Kundan neckline
A band of kundan stones and pearls along a deep U or sweetheart neckline, with light thread filling around it. Pairs well with heavy jewellery because it does not compete.

4. Temple-border blouse
The saree's temple border is repeated along the sleeve edge and hem of the blouse. Traditional, balanced and popular with mothers of the bride too.

Metal-wire zardosi with small mirrors on a velvet or raw silk blouse. Made for reception lighting.
6. Paisley (mango) trail
A curving trail of mango motifs from the shoulder to the back hem, in thread and cut beads. Elegant on lighter silks.

Open, airy floral vines in pastel thread with sequins for organza and tissue sarees. Light to wear.

A fully sequinned back panel with a plain front. Modern, and ideal for sangeet and cocktail sarees.

A net of pearls and beads across the back, framed by thread work. Feels bridal without being heavy.

The bride's motif repeated in a lighter version on blouses for the mother and sisters. One design language across the wedding photos.
How to choose
- Match the weight of the blouse to the saree. Heavy silk can carry heavy work; organza cannot.
- Decide where the eye should go: neckline, sleeves or back. Not all three.
- Bring your jewellery into the conversation. Chokers want plain necklines; long chains want detail lower down.
